727 kick down linkage

Postby gregvega » 25 Jul 2008 15:33

I'm trying to hook up my kick down linkage. I need to find or fab the flat linkage with the slot in it that goes from the carb to the kick down rod. Any ideas?

#1 is for free. It should be repairable.

Give me a bid if you are intrested in anything else. All of them have the same threads.

My problem is that I do not know which of them that is correct for my car. Any help? I also have a rod on my car but I do not know if it is correct or not.

Mine seems like it just needs the slotted end part. It goes from kickdown/throttle linkage mount to carb. I think its about 3"-4" long and doesnt use a threaded end. Just a hole in end that goes on rod and uses cotter pin.

Hmmm :? I have always thought that all upper rods (to all engines) were supposed to be adjustable in length. Maybe I was wrong? Now I have found these four picĀ“s. To me it looks as if only one of them is non-adjustable - The 273" and 318" Coronet engines.

Any comments?
