TCI Valve bodies - any experiences?

Hi all, i have just put in a TCI 122400 valve body into my 904. I havn't put the eng/trans in the car yet. Has anybody had any good/bad experiences with TCI valve bodies? Its basically a case of pulling the old valve body out, putting the park rod on and replacing it with the new one. The instructions tell you to remove a servo spring and replace another spring with a heavier unit. Also to install a 'cupped orifice plug' into one of the clutch holes on the main body, to restrict oil flow to the clutch somewhere.

My application is behind a mild 360. It has a modified standard converter for slightly more stall and a deep pan. Thats it.

I have heard some people don't like them, so just wondering if anyone has anything positive or negative from experience.

Thanks, Steve

Follow all the instructions they give you. Make sure you put that restrictor "cup" in the correct hole.

The valve body is something even TCI cannot do wrong. But don't use one of their converters. They do not last long behind a good engine.
