Does anyone have a good tip to solve my little problem? When I was going to change my wheel bolts 2 of them didin´t fit the splines correctly so now they don´t fit at all... shall I just try to solve the problem by adding more "violence" and just skrew them in so I make "new" splines or what? Sorry my english isin´t that good but I hope you know what I mean?

I think you are saying you have damaged (stripped) the threads on the wheel studs or the nuts by cross-threading the wheel nuts?

Is that correct?

If so you need to replace or repair the damaged parts. Replace would be better. But if the damage is slight and on a non-critical area like the end of the stud then you can repair the thread with a tap and die set.

Some of our cars came with left hand thread on the left side of the car. But most have been replaced over the years so that they are all right hand thread.

Right hand threaded wheel studs are 1/2"-20UNF x 1-19/32" with .673" knurl diameter.

RH thread lug nuts are 1/2"-20UNF

Linka, The studs should be pressed in. The replacements are an interference fit.(bigger) I have used a pile of washers and some grease along with a lug nut to pull some in in a pinch without pulling the axle.
