pinion seal reaplacement
Posted: 30 Oct 2006 16:46When you change the pinion seal can you remove the yoke and seal with out changing the crush sleave. I just want to put a new seal on without messing and adjustment up.
If it is the 489 axle type with the crush sleeve you should replace it. Having said that I have got away without changing it by just nipping it a little tighter. It is wise to change it though.
All the other types of mopar axles do not use a crush sleeve so you would be OK there.
