Slapstick Shifter Installation

Postby NCChallenger » 24 Sep 2005 14:13

Hello all,

This question has probably been answered before but this is my first posting. Does anyone know of a website that shows an exploded view of the 1970 slapstick shifter? I have all the parts to install one including the brackets to mount the console (car currently has a B&M aftermarket piece of junk in it). I need to know console bracket locations, linkage assembly details and any other useful info for returning the car back to its original shifter.

Thanks,
Chris

Why not just get yourself a factory workshop manual? Might be easier for you.

I don't think you will get anything more detailed than this. :?

Yes, I suppose I do need to go ahead and purchase a manual. For some reason, the pictures you posted do not show up.

Must be your internet settings or something? I have never heard of anyone having that problem before?

Can you see any of the photos in any of the other messages in other parts of the board. Like the members cars section?

It could be the settings. I can see photos in some of the posts, but many of the others don't show up.
