i currently have a 8 3/4 323 non possy and im converting to a 393 possy unit but the unit i found in my friends garage has a the smaller pinion i believe 1.3 W/ possy and 393 gears my mechanic said this should be fine because i do not have that a high horsepower car 360 mild cam about 300-325 will this be ok? also the ponion yoke where you attach to driveshaft which is usually tapped so you can run bolts directly in is drilled completely through so it looks like you attach with a bolt through and some kind of locking bolt-was this made this way- thanks
