727 trannys need Dextron fluid according to the FSM. B&M TransKits call for Type-F (••••).

Does anyone know about this?

for firmer shifts use the Type F

Thanks, Ted. B&M also said type F is for better shifts...

As previous posts have said, use dextron. Type F won't hurt the trans, but will give you a firmer shift, and it may be to harsh for your liking.
