Did the 70 Challenger Have This part?

I have this part that was floating around in one of my many parts boxes and need to know if it gets used.
???? Did the 70 model use it?
I believe it's supposed to go between the vacuum booster and the intake manifold.

The 1970 used a Bendix brake booster for al ex Hemi that whas a Midlan Ross ! They only used the vacume valve on the booster it self that is caled a check valve so the vacume hose run from the intake to the brake booster´s check valve.

I have a 360 in this car with 318 heads so I'm getting about a 10:1 compression rate. I believe I have a Bendix booster.
Can I or should I still use this part then? If so, exactly where does it go and how will it help me?

Never seen one of those (which does not mean it's not genuine fo course).

Does it have a Chrysler pentastar and part number?
If it does, what's the part number ?(either the pic is a bit blurry or the new year's eve has not worn off yet...)

Without a part number, it's obviously an aftermarket piece (perhaps added to the vacuum circuit if the OEM check valve went dead).
With the part number, you can probably find out which years the part was good for.

No the part should not be used ! If the exsisting check valve on your booster is bad simply replace it whit a new one repro or NOS. If your brakes are normal when you are out driving the car whit rpm´s down on idel then you should not have to worry BUT if you have to use mutch pedal force at that time maybe you have to look at the vacume amount the engine have at idel and also look for leaks and have in mind that the booster may have a very old membrane in it that might leak.
