When I restore/build a wiper motor I test with a three speed switch, however, if the motor is for an E body application it will run as a variable speed dependant upon the switch, other than part number there's no difference in the way the wiper motor builds
3799239 was superceded by part number 3431790 but is for 74-76 EX VAL, DART, VOL, ASP 2 SPD WIPER MOTOR (SA 3799239, 3799367)
The three speed motor I can't see the part number on from the photo.
Hopefully I helped a little and hopefully didn't confuse anyone with my "assistance", such that it is
