Thermoquad curb idle solenoid.

A couple of years back, I changed the carb on my 74 Challenger from a thermoquad to a 650 Holley spread bore. Not a good move. While the Holley has it's benefits and would probably be a good choice if I'd done some performance work to the engine, I'm finding that on a stock 360, it's not working out the way I thought it would :? . For starts, it's a gas pig. I've changed to smaller jets etc. and it's still not giving me any kind of mileage. A hemi probably gets better fuel economy.
I'm rebuilding the thermoquad and going to put it back on. My problem is this. There are two electrical componets that come into play: The curb idle solenoid, and the electric choke. On the electric choke control thats bolted to the right rear of the intake manifold, there are only two electrical connections. One says Alt. and the other Choke. It's obvious that the choke wire will go on the choke connector, but where does the curb idle solenoid go? I should have taken pictures before I changed everything, but, a brain fart took place.
Can anyone help me with this, or have a photo of a 74 with a 360 and the thermoquad in factory configuration. The 73 and earlier are different, so my problem is related to 1974 only.
Thanks

Have a look in the electrical section for the post that has the engine wiring diagrams, that shows the idle sol and the choke connections . The alt wire is the one that is spliced near the ballast bypass, just a power feed, I used an electric choke Eddy on my 440 and wired it that way, worked lovely
