Hello Guys.

I bought five or six years ago the powermaster XS starter for my 440.
Once I swapped the hemi engine I kept the same starter and works well too.
The friend who bought me my 440 used his stock starter until it finall die and then he dedided to buy a Power Master like mine.

The summit reference is PWM-9513 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PWM-9513 but they changed the case, instead one piece now has these slim screws fitting both pieces that breaks easily.

There's other references of starters like http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PWM-9523/ or http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PWM-19513/
but at this time I'm not sure about it.

I read the 19513 do not have adjusting block, maybe have more strength than the 9513. Al less the picture is different.

What do you recommend, small but strong?

Thanks.

I don't know anyone that uses those. Everyone I know just uses the regular Mopar type mini-starter to replace the heavy stock unit.

Mopar. But they are actually made by Denso who make the starters and alternators for most of the motor manufacturers. They are standard on the modern Mopars.
