Jon..yes the LD340 was a very a good intake, they are quite sought after down here. I think you can block off the heat riser quite easily? I do know that it can be done in the cylinder head as well, where the exhaust gets pumped into that U shaped area. Jon, if you are on a budget, here is a manifold i saw at the same place, KMJ Performance - i was going to buy it but it put the postage price up too high. For $150 it looks ok. But made in you-know-where. The AirGap down here are up around $600+

in any case, this is the manifold i was thinking of that i had hidden away, it is called a Victor 340 (Edelbrock) and is the Air Gap design - just wondering Eddie if this is the same manifold as the AirGap but a different name? If not, do you know much about these?
