340 Exhaust

I've noticed the difference, in some of the Hi-Porformance, exhaust manifold's. Most have the casting #'s,3614368. Does anybody know about,(3614395N2)? The center port is completely open, while the other's are seperated. What will this do to an alluminum head? I think, my other manifold's are the same. I don't remember.

http://mymopar.com/extcastnumb.htm looks like a 318 Dart manifold Pat and the N2 is 2nd shift or Night shift? Should work fine with alloy heads as long as the sparkplug angle is the same. If not you might have to use smaller diameter 5/8 'peanut plugs' like the Accels made for header/manifold clearance or they might not fit at all,,I would check with the head manufacturer if you havent already bought them. I would use the factory style bolts&washers which allow for expansion and movement while still providing a good seal with cast iron man...

Thanks, Eddie!!! :D
This is definately not, a 318 manifold. The 318's are smaller. I'm a little confused because, there is no casting date to be found. I don't think it has been molested, either. I think this one would flow better than, the 73', 340 manifold, I have. I do like header's but, you know where I live. Clearance is an issue. The other side is close to the T/A. Some restriction but, no big deal. I don't treat this car like the 340 Cuda', I had in my youth but, I still have some old road's it must pass without grounding out, low header's. Kowalski couldn't use them either. :s024: :s016:

I'm still planning to hook up with the guy I know with 340 parts. Hopefully he has the mainifolds you want.

Called him twice while cruising around today but no answer. :fight:
