windage tray

Thank you i just wonted to make sure as far as the windage tray it is the stock kind i know there three slots on one side would it be safe to cut three extra slots on the other side to make it drain better to are should i just leave just the three and open them up. thank you.

I would just leave it and make sure as Dave pointed out, the slots are opened up at least a 1/4" or more. Some of the MP ones are not even open! :lol: This is an aftermarket one that has more drain slots, but you should get the idea. I also had to 'window' mine for the extended pick-up bracket. I also used 'The Right Stuff" Adhesive/ sealer under the tray instead of the gasket. Then I used a Mr. Gasket Oil Pan Gasket instead of the cheap MP one. It's re-usable and holds torque very well with no shrinkage. Mancini Racing sells em. I hate leaks,(and shrinkage)! :lol:
