Spark plug wires into dist. cap

Postby gregvega » 21 Aug 2008 17:28

Anyone running 90 degree boot in your dist. cap plug wires? Seams like it might be crowded. I think I'm going straight in.

I have the 90 degree but then again I have 8mm MSD wires. It would have a long loop at the top of the dizzy with straight connections.

Crowded? I don't think so. :disbelief:

Dave also has a large distributor. I have a stock size distributor and 90 degree is crowded. I would go with straight out if you have a stock size distributor.

But I used to have a stock distributor and if you point the wires out like I have done (and also have #1 in the correct location) it is no problem at all.

On a small block they seem to run all over each other using 90's. Yours looks really clean though Dave. :)
