Shaker Cable Question

PostPosted: 02 Aug 2008 14:28

Does anyone have a closeup photo of where the carb air cable connects to the lever on the shaker base plate. The lever has two pins that the cable could connect to, an upper and a lower. I have not been able to locate a photo of that area. Thanks

Thanks Drew, it was last minute thing on those valve covers. I didnt have the originals. I didnt know for sure if those stock factory covers would work on the Eds head/Comp Pro-Magnum Roller rockers combo So I bought a set of non-polished alluminum M.P. ones and had them painted Street Hemi Orange. I hate corrosion!

Thanks Eddie, that really helps. I just bought the shaker air doors from Year One ( 350.00, Ouch! ) as they were missing when I got the car and I didnt know how to do the cable setup. By the way, I just bought a restored RimBlow steering wheel ( 1300.00, Double Ouch!! ) If anyone is looking for a regular 3 spoke woodgrain wheel, I will sell it for 100.00. It is in decent condition, but the woodgrain could use restored. Thanks again.

No problem Dana. With the Caliber of your car, it deserves no less! OUCH, yeah I can feel that sting from here  My N.O.S. outside chrome racing 1970 only mirrors were almost 1500.00 back in 98!
