How would changin to 1.6 ratio affect duration of my cam

It will not effect duration at all Tore.

However it will effect valve lift. The valve will open faster and it will open further. So the valve will be open at or above the amount needed for max flow through the ports much sooner and for longer.

For my opinion the advertised duration will be the same, It depends by the cam but the duration @ valve lift 0,5 will be increased just a little.....
