Went to the first Car show of the year at Year One and on the way home my throttle cable came apart, so I had no pedal and my arms aren't long enough to reach the carb and get the car to go faster (lol). Anyway, broke down on I-85 major interstate in Atlanta which sucks and waited 3 hours for a flatbed wrecker to show up.

Anyway, I clearly need to get another throttle cable any suggestions ( I haven't tried Year One yet) and not having installed one before anything magical about putting the new one on?

Nope nothing crazy, there is a small clip on the cable where it goes through the firewall that has to come out first. I got one from Jacks for 50 bucks last year. Many vendors have them.
