I was at his booth at the Nats in 07, spoke with him for at least a 1/2 hour on them. He had the R-5/P-7 Nascar 358's for 12,995 and those 6.4 426's Gen III Hemi's for a good price too! It makes killer torque! Nice and flat and weighs less than the 5.9 360 by 40-50 or so kilos. They are also built for true street with pump 92 and 100,000 mile durability(Hemi not the Nascar motor). I would have loved to hear that Nascar smallblock rev to 10k though. Any gearhead would.

Mate of mine has one of the NASCAR lumps and is putting a couple of turbos on with a custom grind camshaft.

Wow, that should sound and run wicked! Pieced individually those engines run 75k! The crate version is a great deal! He also told me that it could run 8k rpm's sustained! Very impressive for a pushrod engine! It would look great in that 73 Challenger I want to buy!
