I took my tank apart when I was 12, so my memory's a little fuzzy, and the tank and neck were holed beyond repair, so who knows what was missing. I got a new tank in and it didnt come with anything like that. I still have whats left of the rubber boot that goes on the trunk floor, thats not the one I'm talking about.
Posted: 28 Mar 2008 9:51The tank has a big rubber gromit in the opening. The filler neck pushes through that. Then you have the one pictured which is on the floor. Last of all is a foam gasket that sits between the end of the filler neck and the inside of the quater panel.

Posted: 29 Mar 2008 14:52Chrysler still sells the fuel tank filler tube grommet if you get in a pinch. The one for the fender to filler tube can be easily made from either a rubber or a foam type material that won't melt if in contact with gasoline.
