Here is the 440 source Billet Timing Cover installed. I had to carefully chamfer the edge of the thrust button so it wouldnt 'dig' into the soft alloy. Also NAPA makes a flat flange timing cover seal so you can press it in without having to beat on it with a large hammer. Much easier to install with a shop press and 'cleaner' than the old style seal. The Diamond thrust button takes a Torx-50 bit.

Although I mentioned it before I should clarify something here. The traditional MoPar Timing Cover seal doesnt have a flat surface to press on the hub, therefore the traditional way of beating it into the hub left something to be desired. I always dented the rounded portion with a heavy hammer before it would seat flat against the lower hub. The seal may have worked fine but I didnt like the way it was installed. This newer design has a nice flat flange to use a shop press and a 'plate' between the press head and the seal flange. I would bring the press head up to the plate and then use the incremental setting and watch the pressure gauge carefully. It went in perfect! No violence and dented seal!

I fergot to post my spring pressures. 200lbs. on the seat 390lbs. over the nose.(Max Lift of .584) this should bode for long spring life and good control to 6300-6500 RPM's 7000 if I had deep pockets and titanium hardware  My heads will be 'all done' before 6000 so the higher revs are really unnessary. (Even though the block and rotating and oiling systems should be fine at those RPM's)

Did you have to bush the lifter bores for roller lifters or not?

No they are designed to be a 'drop in' with no machining required on B/RB production blocks.

Thanks Ian, I had Scotty Brown send me another high quality Aussie made part. I used a RollMaster Damper, Steel, 18.1 SFI, Internal balance. 269.00 it arrived and is degreed to 50 BTDC. I had to have it honed as the Damper is honed to the low side of specs and the fit was way too tight.(I like a loose fit) :P It's at the Machinist who is a bud of mine. He likes the Damper for the price. I'll post a pic as soon as I get it pressed on.

I didnt include a pic of the RAS valvetrain but I think I may have to raise the rocker shafts up to get the geometry perfect. Wont know for sure until I do some more "mock-up" work with my checking pushrod and a shim kit.
