When I build that blown EFI hemi (in my dreams! ) I am going to have to ship you over to build and program the injection and ignition system.

It's coming Fabian I promise :wink2: Here I set the thrust clearance on final assembly which checked out at .006. The runout was .000 it was dead on! The crankshaft felt like it was on ball bearings, very smooth with very little turn over torque. When the Pistons/Rods get hung and installed it will change for sure!

Each fastener space under that machinists precision tool was different. I had some that measured .077 some over .100 the 1-4 mains are the ones that secure the 3/8 Billet Steel plate to the mains. The #5 main is complete.

I had to spend quite abit of money in the last few days. 3700.00 bucks for a new well because our old was improperly installed with the cheapest materials and shoddy labor. Gotta have H2O though!!At least it's fixed and I dont have to live like my ancestors,(Bedouin) I did recieve my Pistons back today and they are literally much to beautiful to use. I think I'll put some cheap slugs in it! Seriously, they are very nice. I think it's a worthy investment considering I am going into 'uncharted' territory as far as fuel used and feel I need the extra corrosive and Heat protection offered by certain engine coatings. This is the Calico CT-3 skirt coating whichs helps against skirt scuffing and aids in lubricity..

#2 Calico was even nice enough to keep my pistons in their specific cylinder numbered order. When I called them they instructed me to do this. I guess I didnt press into the metal hard enough! I used a scribe to etch the #s into the bottom of the Pin boss. When I opened the box and examined the pistons carefully, the #s I had 'etched' werent there. They did number them to keep them organized, whew, it could have been very expensive for me had they not have done that. If the pistons arent in their respective bores to which they were honed and meausred for it may have caused scuffing, damage, overheating, seizure, destroyed engine! I would then have had to purchase a very expensive dial bore gauge,(600.00 for a pro-quality one that can accurately meausre to .0001) So I really appreciate them taking care of me again! Kudos to Calico!!
