Hi guys.
Somebody has installed electrical fuel pump?
Where do you recommend to install it? I changed the fuel sending for new one with 1/2 inch tube and keep the original line for return.
Maybe i will install the new 1/2" line under driver side to the firewall.

As a general rule, "it's easier to push than pull" having said that, I would assume a great place to begin your search of the "ideal" place would be near the tank at the inboard frame stub, possibly outboard, I would pick a place there that would require a minimum of plumbing and be easy to maintain/access.

I've been told electrical fuel pumps also need to be placed below, or at least in level with the low end of the fuel tank since they only take the fuel that is 'fed to them by gravity' and push it on.

Mine is right in front of the fuel tank, very close to it (otherwise there mey be dangerous clearance problems with the axle), mounted to the car floor (so it's above fuel level). I don't like it though, it's pretty rough. When I move it, I'll put it alongside the right frame rail (inboard), and I'll put the filter at the same place, right after the pump. I don't have problems with it now, but it will be lower once moved.

Fbernard, what fuel pump are you using right now?

Is there a reason why you would place the fuel filter after the pump, as opposed to before it? If you place it before, wouldn't that help preventing possible crap disturbing the pump?
