Could I use the stock fuel line to return?

I will install quanta fuel sending unit.

I will build the new 1/2" aluminium line with the electric pump near the tank and I want to use the stock metallic fuel line to return the line from the firewall.

Do you think it's correct?
The stock fuel line has moreless the same diameter like fuel sending unit return inlet.

I think the return line is smaller diameter than the feed line. It sounds like you are using a return style system back to the tank. Just out of curiosity, why are you using aluminum? It will crack much easier than the steel line material and is harder to work with. It also will corrode with any alcohol based fuels unless it's anodized coated. It seems it has many disadvantages for the minimal weight savings it affords.

I'm not sure Eddie.
John, the engine builder recommend it to me.
Otherways, I never will use alcohol, only regular fuel

You have a 1/4" return nipple on the sending unit, so anything 1/4 or larger is okay for the return line. The original line (3/8" IIRC) should be good.

I would not use aluminum, just in case I want to use E85 in the future. Otherwise, all my friends with track cars use 1/2" aluminum lines, or 1/2" internal diameter braided teflon lines.

By the way, is that the Unisteer Rack and pinion you got on your car? Are you happy with it? Can you post some more pics of the setup (esiecially the coupling between original steering column and steering box)?

Yes fbernard, it is the unisteer power rack and pinion but that you want to see is the same like me.

Mechanic close for vacation until 27th august, then the changes follow its way.

My car has to receive three important changes and I will post them here.

First, without any order the hemi engine instead of 440.
Second, the unisteer power rack instead the original steering box.
Third, the hydratech power booster instead of original vaccum system.
