I recently purchased a Holley Spread bore to replace my aging Thermoquad. It was the one recommended by Holley and fit just great.
The only issue is the Carb Cable/Transmission Kickdown arangement.
As you know there is a rod that sticks out from the carb linkage that these two items hook onto. I figured "no problem" I'll just remove it from the thermoquad (removeable item), put it on the Holley and all will be well. Not so.
The linkage is now bent towards the intake manifold, and I feel that neither the throttle cable or kickdown linkage will function correctly.
Has anyone out there in Mopar land done this changeover, and if you have, any chance of a photo or two to show me how you corrected this problem?
You can email me at home if you want. gshortre@telus.net.
My car by the way is a 74 Challenger with a 360 and an automatic transmission.
Thanks all!

Seems weird that one side says use for MOPAR or the other guy and it is a direct replacement for either make, but the other side of the company says something else. What is even stranger, the tech guy didn't give the part number of the bracket required
, but the MOPAR NUTS could.
