The Dodge Challenger Message Board

Ok, I've got a new valley pan on my newly painted block. Should I leave it bare metal? If I dont paint it, wont it rust? How about clear, our should it be the color of the block? What do you guys think? The bright bare metal pops but you cant see much of it anyway. I really dont want to leave it bare and rust sometime later.

Paint it. Any colour you want. Silver if you like.

The originals were painted with the engine block.
