Single Plane, High Rise?

Hey, im running a 344 cid (.030 overbore) 340 with a .480/.480 230/230 cam and 4.56 gears. Heads are factory irons with some stiffer valve springs. Currently I am running your average duel plane, performer intake manifold with a holly street avenger 670cfm carb.

Im starting to tweek the car and look for more power in all places, and it dawned on me that the cam feels like it pulls very nice through 6000rpm's and to the point where I shift at around 6500. Im just wondering now if a single plane manifold more capeable of flowing at high rpm's (above 5500) would suit me better at this point. I plan on doing a high converter (maybe around 3000-3300) in the future as well. The car is street driven but only on weekends and such, not a daily driver or taken on long trips at all. It just seems that while launching off a 3000rpm converter, and shifting at 6500...im not going to need that idle-1500rpm advantage of the duel planes operating range. I just don't know what effect the single plane will have on 3, 4 and 5k rpm torque and power. What would you guys reccomend?

I would lean toward the single plane for sure.
