I used two "experimental" six pack cometic gaskets either side of my heat plate.

They are supposed to insulate very well. I took a thin one and a thick one to try.
I found the bolt hole spacing to be out. Told them. Don at FBO that made them went into a huff and refused to believe he could be wrong so obviously I need to learn how to measure the distance between bolt holes in Holley 2bbl carbs because according to FBO they are all spaced differently.
But despite Don thinking the sun shines out of his backside they do look as if they will work well. As carb gaskets.
I would think twice about using this material for a head gasket though.
