The Dodge Challenger Message Board

hello guys, i have a quick question, i think i know the answer but just wanted to make sure. We recently bought a 6-pack setup for our challenger, complete with carbs, manifold, and air cleaner. My question is did they come with aluminum manifolds at all?? I wouldn't think so but not quite sure.

It is said that some of the very early 1970 models came with them as they had some left over from 1969-1/2 Coronet and Roadrunner production.

To cut costs and because they now needed a much bigger volume of the intakes Chrysler decided to cast their own in-house. That meant doing it in cast iron from then on.
