Just got one the dyno yesterday. Seems to be a nice/versatile street package. was built for a heavy car, '69 sattelite B body 'street" type guy.

First time using INDY 360-1 head pkg on "low-comp" 408 stroker(stock 360 based block)We already knew the heads could make stellar power on roller/high comp stuff.

Will have to post final numbers later with complete curves for all to peruse, but, made 545 hp@ 5900 rpm, forgot the damn peak torque already, but above 500 and very flat.
Promise I will post complete curves soon as printer gets fixed.

Stock block. main studs, no windage tray, not currently available.
7 qt pan
Cross over oiling mod
Drilled main supply
H.V. pump
Forged 4" Mopar(scat) crank
Eagle I beams
Wiseco forged Flat- tops ( 0 deck ht.)

"smallish"Comp Cams custom solid flat -tappet

INDY CYLINDER HEAD 360-1 package, heads, rockers, intake etc.
Bowls cleaned up only
Chambers opened and polished, added 3.5cc for final of 67 cc chamber
Poured @ 11.3:1 C.R. with the aluminum head.
Dyno'd on pump premium fuel @ 32 deg.
Some detonation(very mild plug evidence), certainly "good to go" with bit of 100 ll or mix some GOOD stuff to the pump.

Like I said, first time at bat with basically 'outa the box INDY stuff on a lower compression motor and puny flat tappet cam. I'm very impressed with this build. Makes very respectable power/torque, more to the point, it's an easy build !
Next up I think I'll go to a mild concave piston head configuration to negate having to do the chamber work and drop it another .3 C.R. to 11:1 or slightly below. Should then be perfect on the 92 octane as this chamber has demonstrated great thermal characteristics/flamefront now on the lower C.R. stuff as well as the high.

Neat little motor !
