If you are sure you have fuel level and pressure at the carb...
Check for spark at the spark plugs.
If no spark check at the coil. A faulty coil to distributor lead will kill all the spark at the plugs.
If there is no spark at the coil you must have a wire off somewhere.
You have not messed with the timing have you?

i checked the plugs and there is spark at the plugs, but heres the thing the timing is way off i think something like 40 degrees and yes i know you don't ahve to say anything thats alot, i am putting in a new motor this week but i need to get it to the shop so i can put it in but i can't get it started. the weird thing is tho that i had it running the week before and now nothing.

Well it will not start with the timing that far out for sure! Has someone had the distributor out or moved it at all?

no the distributor hasn't been touched i believe that the timing chain may have skipped or something like that to get the timing so far off, but like i said it started a week ago and the timing hass been off for almost a year. i never really drove it tho cause well it runs horrible but i could always get it to start

Maybe it went on strike for better conditions.

They must have been in rough condition and the ignition system must be weak. I would go through your electrical system and make sure you get a good spark. Also maybe the plugs are getting fouled by it being too rich or burning oil?
