Turbochargers

I have a miss guided fool of a friend who likes neons; at least it’s a mopar produce. Any ways he just got a stage one turbocharger for it, and was telling me how great turbochargers were and all that. So I came to wondering, do they make a turbocharger for 360s? I don’t really want to put in a supercharger to maintain a stock looks on the out side, and with the flat hood I don’t think one would fit. So anyways, I just want to know if they make a turbocharger for a 360 and if so where I could find one to buy. Thanks for your time.

You can get turbo kits for just about anything.

They are good but also have disadvantages.

I personally think the centrifugal superchargers are better. Particularly on street cars where you want increased torque right from idle up-over. These look like a turbo but are belt driven. They fit under stock hoods.

To get the best out of them you need a low compression engine. Something around 8:1 is ideal but they will work with higher compressions if you are prepared to compramise.

Here is a couple of links.

That last link to the supercharger store is the better one as they have several Mopar kits.

I agree with dave.
Here is a link for a custom kit for our mopars, that has an intercooler with it. Hope to put it on my 73 one day.

100% increase thats crazy! Thanks for the links, I had no idea superchargers had gotten so small and don't need oil run to the m even now. Thanks again for your time.
