Porting templates
Posted: 05 Sep 2001 13:40Does anyone know where to find these? There must be a supplier out there that has some, right? I'm mostly interested in small block J & X head templates. Thanks!

Posted: 06 Sep 2001 9:41The guy who ported and polished my 906 heads used porting templates and I am pretty sure he got them from Mopar Performance. They are listed in the 1996 catalog and are probably still available.

Posted: 30 Sep 2001 6:23Yes you can get them at MP. I have a pair of '70 318 heads from a satellite. They don't seem to have any templetes though for 318 heads, but they do have templetes for 36o swirl port and Magnum V8 heads. My question is, would the 360 swirl port or the Magnum V8 templetes work for my 318 heads?
