Valvetrain

I'm looking at purchasing some "J" (915/587 casting) 360 heads from aerohead racing for a MP 360 shortblock. I planned on using a Hughes Engines hydraulic cam. I know you have to use their springs specifically for their cams, but what about the rest of the components?

I know a few of the members here run their cams...what are you guys using valvetrain wise? Any favorite mgfrs. or for that matter ones to stay away from? Just curious fellas, thanks!

The alloy roller tip rockers the Hughes and one or two other people sell are OK on a hydraulic cam as long as the cam is not ultra wild and you do not see 5000+ miles a year.
I use rockers the same as these and have had no problems at all with them. I got mine from Indy Cylinder head I think?

Don't use those gold crane rockers or any that use springs on the shaft between them. Do use billet hold down clamps on the rocker shaft.

A very good rocker is the steel Comp cams roller tip and is probably the rocker I would go for if I was building my engine now.
