Well, I hope to be able to built a 440 for my challenger to run it next season on the strip. It will replace the existing 340. At least I'm hoping I 'll make it in time.

The plan is to built it like the following:

* 440 block .30 over
- 4.15" forged MP crank
- 11:1 CR JE pistons
* MP Stage V heads, prof. ported and polished
* 2.14/1.81" valves
* CompCams roller cam .750" lift 4-7k range
* 1.5 roller rockers
* Holley strip dominator intake
* Holley 1050cfm dominator carb
* Milodon street/strip oil pan
* 1/2" oil pickup
- Hooker super comp 2" headers
* 3" exhaust w/ 40serie flowmaster
* 727 trans
- Reverse pattern manual valve body
* 10" converter (stall appr. 4000rpm)
* 4.30's SG rearend
* 28" slicks

And all the needed parts to cool it down and to keep it live.

* parts me or my friends already have.
- parts still needed

Should get me in 11's.

Sounds good to me. 8) The Mopar M1 intake might be better for you than the Holley? Maybe?

The intake is one of the parts my buddy already have laying around from racing his cuda but since he went to a B1 setup it's a 'left over' So first we give it a try and see how everything appears. Lots of the parts we already have is from my buddys racing years. Always worth a try first.

Hope it's streetable enough... if not, also great!
