Has anybody ever seen or heard of a conversion from a standard 2barrel carb to a EFI system, for a 73' 318c.i. and if so where do I begin?

Holley and Edelbrock both make 'bolt on' systems. It may be possible to swap a system from a modern Chrysler V8 onto your 318 but don't ask me how!

Marshall go over to to Rance Fuel injection website, he's done a load of Mopars and is really good with this stuff. And if you call him he'll answer all your questions, if you read Mopar Action magazine you'll see he did the fuel injection on Rick E-Berg's, the tech editor's "flying Green Brick" Valient.
I'm getting very tempted to go this route myself, best of luck with it and keep us posted

Thought you all would be interested in the search so far. Andy thanks for the info and Ill keep you all posted. Dave-R I have contacted edelbrock and this is there response, just FYI. I am now looking into Andy's suggestion and Holley. Thanks guys for all your support.

Edelbrock Say's:
We do not have our S/B Mopar system out at this time. When it is available it will be for 340 and 360 engines not for the 318s because of port dimensions.
If you put either 340 or 360 heads on your 318 it will work.

Sounds about typical Marshall, if it was for a smallblock chevy there would be 50 different kits all costing 500 bucks, grrr
Best of luck mate and keep us posted

Is a link you might find interesting. Not a 318 but a 383. It might help you though.
