can anyone tell me the original bore size on a 1985 360ci block

I don't know much about 1980s stuff. Is this engine the same as the old LA block or is this one of these newer Magnum engines? The old 360 had a 4" bore. That is 40thou smaller than the 340 bore but it had a longer stroke. I don't know when the new Magnums came in or if they have the same bore and stroke or not.
Any one else know?

Hey maybe the third times the charm. Per "How to Rebuild Small Block Mopar Engines", the bore is the same 4.00 in. The only difference I can tell is the 71 360 had a piston to deck clearance of.074", the 72-86 deck clearance was .067". The compression height on a 71 was 1.584" and on 72-86 it was 1.591". Hopefully this book is accurate
