Is anybody familiair with Crower cams? If so, do you know the specifications of a Crower cam type T9495? (it's an older cam) I'm asking this for a friend who lost the original specs provided with the cam. Thanks anyway!

Are you sure that is the part number because it is nothing like the part numbers on the Crower master parts list.

Noticed it myself Dave, already checked their website; that made me a bit confused also. Thought maybe because it's an old cam the number isn't list anymore. But I will inform if he's sure about the #.

Hey guys, I got some more info. It's a crower roller cam part# T5495. It's a cam from 10+ years ago... Crower is already contacted, but they don't have any specs of old cams anymore.

I don't like rollers. They cause more problems than they are worth. They tend to break the rockers, bend pushrods, and wear the lifter bores very fast which causes a loss of oil pressure. Second hand cams are someone elses old problems.

Thanks Dave, you just answered a question I was going to ask. The question was going to be, if you felt there would be a cost/benefit ratio to switch from a Mopar .509 cam to a Huges Hydraulic Roller. The application is a 440 estimated to be putting out between 500 - 525HP.

I get more power than that from a Hughes flat tappet hydraulic.
