Trying to get my engine running good before she hits the road. Just put a new edelbrock 800cfm carb and weiand intake on my 383 challenger. Same thing that happened before.. When I stomp on it and get it up to about 3/4 throttle , it POPS. Anyone have any ideas? Could this be electrical, timing ? Please help

Try a fresh set spark plugs, Perhaps some platinum tips. Take eight of those and call me in the morning.
