BEST Valve Cover Gaskets

Recently installed a 440 in My Challenger. We've had issues with the valve covers leaking on both sides- and have managed to solve the driver's side, but not the passenger side, which leaks.
I've got an aftermarket set of valve covers that seem to be straight on- and am going to purchase a set of Mopar Performance Valve Covers, but I want the MOST RELIABLE valve cover gaskets I can get my hands on.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

I use aluminum sheetmetal valve covers on my B-Engine,,I also use the rubber Fel-Pro gaskets in the Fel-Pro gasket set,,no leaks! There is a company that sells "the best" gaskets but Ive never used them. http://www.superperformanceproducts.com a lot of racers/street machines use them with reportedly good results. Linky wont work,,their number is 866-925-7855 google superperformance gaskets!!! The call is toll free

The factory iron heads have a very poorly shaped seat for the gaskets to sit on, they are rough cast and even slightly porous. Getting any stamped steel covers to seal easily is always tricky.
I even went to the trouble of having a set of 452's skimmed on the valve cover rail cos the material was only an 1/8" thick in some places

I used a pair of Cometic gaskets last time, been dry so far..............

Thanks guys!
I'm going to try the Moroso 93055 Rubber/ Steel gaskets and see how they work.

Years ago I got some MP "rubber" gaskets cheap from a stall. They were bright orange in colour and didn't have any steel in them.

I siliconed them to the valve covers with orange copper loaded silicon and they stayed on for years and years. Never leaked. Used over and over again.

Hey guys-

This is getting frustrating.
Got rid of my crappy Mopar Perf .aluminum valve covers- those nice Moroso gaskets would not even fit.

Picked up a set of FelPro cork gaskets- got the driver's side to finally stop leaking. (Found that all the holes in the top of the heads aren't actually the same depth, so a couple of bolts were bottoming out and not sealing properly. Fixed that, but the passenger side- that passenger side- continued to leak.
I tried ultra grey to secure/ seal the gasket to the cover and still had the leaks on the bottom two bolt areas where the oil usually pools up during running.
Took them off- re-sealed again- clamped it and let it sit for over a day. Installed- and same issue.
I know the tops of the heads aren't perfect but these gaskets- especially with permatex on them- should be able to seal!
So, the cover comes back off again- this time I ordered the Mr Gasket 5877 Ultra gaskets.
I think one issue may be the manifold gaskets that have the heat shield- which I have. Because the manifold is so much closer to the valve cover on the passenger side- it's difficult to seat the cover- and you actually pinch/ bend the gasket if you're not careful because of the tabs on the gasket protruding outward.
Anyone else had this problem with this type of manifold gasket? They were Mopar parts.
