I just found this posted on another site. These are the brackets that you install on your LCA's to be able to mount the swaybar.

Yeah they look great - about time someone came up with such a simple fix and at a reasonable price

my 72 challenger did not come with a sway bar so i sent off for the hotchki brackets they look great i went ahead and welded them on the lower control arm but i am really thinking about buying the hostkis sway bar a little pricey but my question is is it better to use there brand sway bar and it a hollow tube are should i look for the original mopar sway bar that is a solid piece. with the new technology would the hostkis be better to use. Thank you.

If the rest of the front end is stock...rubber bushings, standard shocks, tires with a tall sidewall...it won't do much for you. If you upgraded to poly bushings, a good high performance shock, and performance tires, the new bar would be a good idea.
This is of coarse my opinion, but it seams like everything should work in sync with everything else. Putting that bar on a stock, sloppy system won't do anything for you.

yes i replace all the all the upper and lower ball joints with the rubber ones and new standard shocks i will be running a good performance tire.to tell you the truth when i replace al the ball joints i dident even think about the poly bushings making that much of a difference i guess i learn as i go the hard way thank you.

Poly bushings do cause a rougher ride with increased vibration.
It really depends on your goal and expectations though.
If/when I do the front end again it will be rubber. Just my opinion.

if i cant find a original sway bar set up at a good price i may go ahead and buy the hotchkis sway bar and see how it will work out with all new rubber front end.

3/4 inch on the rear is all you need. Otherwise it is going to oversteer.

It depends on how stiff the front is compared to the rear Ian.
If you have fairly soft rear leafs (compared to the front torsion bars) and a big front bar it will be OK.
It is all down to how much total spring rate you have with regrads to weight distribution. Usually e-body cars are very heavy at the front compared to the rear. So the front spring rates need to be high compared to the rear.

yea my rears are quite soft but i guess ill just have to wait & see when i finally get it on the road its a bit hard to set it up while its not going but ill muck about & get it how i want it when the more pressing things are done
