I have a original 1970 r/t challenger. I notice the radiator support does not have the two pair of hole drill like i seen on many other 1970 challenger.Any one know what they are used for and why mine don't have them. the paint on my car is original. Also is the vin code supposed to be on the support.
thanks

I don't know what holes you are talking about. Sorry.

But the last 8 digits of the VIN are stamped about half way between the radiator center and the drivers inner fender. Not on the top of the metal but over on the inside edge facing the rad. They are stamped upside down so you can read them from the front of the car.

No. Instead you will find a message that says mind your head when you stand up straight again.

Dave, only the six digit series number is stamped on my radiator support, not the last eight digits. Maybe that's another LA assembly line thing... I don't know. And where might a repro "Mind your head" sign be bought? My original one seems to be missing... ))
